Yvette L. (Roy) Mineau, 94, passed away at her daughter's home surrounded by her loving family on August 5, 2017. She was the wife of the late Clair Mineau. Born in Canada, she was a daughter of the late Amédée and Emma (Dion) Roy. She was the loving mother of Daniel Mineau of Canada, Réal Mineau of Woonsocket, Raymond Mineau of Florida, Diane Bootland of New Hampshire and France Cultrera of Pawtucket; grandmother of 12; great-grandmother of 17; sister of Marie Croteau, Béatrice Desruisseaux, Monique Fortier, Henriette Guimond, Gérard Roy and the late Carmen Laperrière....

Yvette L. (Roy) Mineau, 94, passed away at her daughter's home surrounded by her loving family on August 5, 2017. She was the wife of the late Clair Mineau. Born in Canada, she was a daughter of the late Amédée and Emma (Dion) Roy. She was the loving mother of Daniel Mineau of Canada, Réal Mineau of Woonsocket, Raymond Mineau of Florida, Diane Bootland of New Hampshire and France Cultrera of Pawtucket; grandmother of 12; great-grandmother of 17; sister of Marie Croteau, Béatrice Desruisseaux, Monique Fortier, Henriette Guimond, Gérard Roy and the late Carmen Laperrière.

Yvette lived in Canada until she and her husband moved their family to the United States in 1964. She lived in Woonsocket where she worked at Miller Electric until her retirement. Upon retiring, she moved to Florida where she spent the rest of her life. She volunteered for different civic organizations. She was an avid dancer who loved to dance as often as she could. She also liked to play bingo, bake and was an excellent cook. She loved to travel to different destinations. She lived a full and happy active life until the end.

She will be sadly missed by her children, grandchildren, siblings and her neighbors and friends whom loved her very much.

Visitation will be held Thursday, 4-7 p.m. with her funeral service on Friday at 12 noon in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham, MA.
